26 Pretty Bedroom Ideas

I’m looking for a little inspiration today for my pretty bedroom. I’ve been working on a little makeover and I’m ready to add some finishing touches.

1. Paint the walls in a soothing color.

A pretty bedroom should make you feel relaxed and at ease.

So, when it comes to choosing the color scheme, you’ll want to go with something that feels soft and serene.

Here, a light lavender hue is used to set the tone and paired with white and light wood accents to keep the space feeling bright and open.

2. Add comfy

A bedroom is a place to retreat, so make it as comfortable as possible. This means plenty of pillows, a cushy chair, and a soft rug underfoot.

You can also add a soft throw to the end of the bed, so it’s easy to grab if you get cold.

inviting textiles.

The bench at the foot of the bed is upholstered in a lovely floral fabric that adds a touch of color to the room.

The large bolster pillow is also covered in a floral fabric and the bed pillows have a lovely lace trim.

The different textiles add so much visual interest to the bed and make it look so inviting.

3. Add a touch of greenery.

No matter what your bedroom color scheme is, a little pop of greenery will always look good.

If you’re not much of a green thumb, you can always opt for a faux plant or even use a floral wallpaper to add a touch of nature to your space.

4. Personalize with art and photos.

Art is a great way to add color and personality to a room. In this bedroom, a gallery wall filled with colorful prints is the perfect focal point.

The bed is kept simple with all-white bedding and a single lumbar pillow.

The bright coral color of the pillow is picked up in the art and the throw blanket at the foot of the bed, tying the whole look together.

5. Add a few romantic touches.

If you’re looking to create a serene, romantic space, consider adding a few of these elements to your bedroom.

• Plush bedding

• Soft, neutral colors

• Flowers

• Candles

• Light-filtering curtains

• A cozy rug

You don’t have to go overboard, but adding a few romantic touches can make a big difference in the overall feel of the room.

6. Create a cozy reading nook.

If you have the space, a reading nook can be a great way to fill an awkward corner.

A cozy chair or small loveseat with a side table and lamp will create a designated space for reading, relaxing, and even working.

The key to creating a cozy reading nook is to layer in soft textures and lighting.

A throw blanket, a few accent pillows, and a plush rug will make the space feel extra inviting.

And a table lamp or floor lamp will provide just the right amount of light for reading.

7. Add a few extra touches of luxury.

Finally, add in a few extra touches of luxury to make your bedroom feel like a high-end hotel suite.

This can be anything from a plush area rug to a beautiful chandelier to a cozy reading nook.

The key is to find a few things that make you feel like you’re treating yourself and incorporate them into your bedroom design.

Just be sure not to overdo it. Too many luxury elements can make your bedroom feel cluttered and overwhelming.

Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed this pretty bedroom inspiration! I am a big fan of light and bright bedrooms and love to share them with you! Check out a few more of my favorite bedroom designs below.
